Trip to Washington D.C.

At least once a year my dad flies to Washington D.C. on business, and he always takes one of us kids with him. This year I (Grace) was able to go with him. Since T.J. is out in Virginia about an hour from D.C., we had the treat of seeing him as well. Our schedule worked out so we were able to spend a total of two days with him!

All the guys from T.J.'s wing. They were all together for a group picture when we arrived on campus. T.J. had me go through and name them all. Unfortunately, I didn't get them all right, but I came close. :)

The rest of the pictures are from the Newseum. On Saturday morning, we took T.J. and two guys from his wing down to Washington D.C. We were able to go to the Holocaust Museum (which I highly recommend if you ever go to D.C.) and the Newseum.

Dad, me, Chris H., some random tourist, and Cameron

The metal in the picture was taken from the top of one of the World Trade Centers.

Chris H. and Cameron looking at newspapers from all over the states and world reporting about the World Trade Centers.

The Newseum had really old papers dating back to the 1600s. They were all major events that happened in American history.

So ended our day in D.C.!!!

If we ever make it back to D.C. maybe we'll have to make that one of our stops!
