Dad's brother, Uncle Jeff, was in town the past few days. On Friday afternoon, we went to the WWI museum here in Kansas City. This is the official WWI museum in the nation - we were all wondering why and who decided to put it here?!?
The Liberty Memorial is very impressive looking.
The actual museum in located under and around the base of the memorial. We all decided we have a better understanding of the events of WWI than we ever have before. I am amazed that we stayed out of the war for so long when German u-boats were sinking our ships all the time!
