Senator Roberts

Our United States Senator Pat Roberts was in town last night for a town hall meeting. The topic was moving Guantanamo Bay detainees to Fort Leavenworth. Do we want them or not? The resounding cry of the people last night was "No way, Not here!" (Paraphrased of course.) Dad, T.J., Grace, and I did get to meet Senator Roberts and we were all impressed with how personal and down to earth he is - not stuck up like some politicians. Roberts is definitely a Kansan.

Last night we saw Senator Roberts and right now Dad is having lunch with our other Senator, Sam Brownback. :)
