Sorry for taking so long. T.J. and I both came down with colds (or allergies) and on top of that Dad had us three older ones working at Marlow White on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
We had so much fun in the sand. We played tag, sculpted, played spoons, and hunted for crabs. Because we spent so much time in the sand, we also ate and slept in sand as well. I was constantly emptying my pockets that somehow filled with sand.
This massive sand castle that we built only
lasted two days due to the tide and wind.
Both Ike and Katherine sculpted sand sea turtles.
We spent time, several of the days, hunting ghost crabs in their holes.
We took one to the cabin to show Aunt Debbie...
...and it got out!
Almost every day we went to the stream at low tide to hunt for shells. The prize shells were the cowries. They are hard to find. Altogether I think we found around twenty. Abe and Ike hunted for sea crabs under rocks around the stream.

Jed didn't like the sand at first. But toward the end,
he loved running around in it as long as it never touched his hands!
Isn't Cal cute!
