Fall is here!

Andrew helped me turn 1/2 bushel of apples into applesauce yesterday. I started at 9am cutting up apples and didn't finish the canning process until 4pm! I didn't think it would take that long, but the good news is I do have 11 quarts of applesauce to show for it.

Wow! That looks yummy!!! Have you ever canned applesauce before? Was it fun making it for that long?

Katherine - No, I hadn't ever canned applesauce before. I can't say it was totally fun to do it all day, but I had good helpers.
