Chickens!

We finally got our chickens this past weekend!! Dad and Andrew started working on the coop in May, but because of all the trips we didn't get it finished as soon as we would have liked.

Andrew and Bethany helping Dad lay the floor.

We are calling our chicken coop "Cluckinghen" Palace, because it has quite the elaborate design and really looks nice on the outside.

This is the inside of the coop before we put the chickens in. That's me in the door with bunny ears compliments of T.J. :)

Introducing the chickens to their new home.

Just checking to make sure they like their new home.

Grandma and Grandpa were here for the day and got to watch all the excitement.

The first night none of the chickens went into the coop to roost, so . . . we had to catch them all and put them in! But, thankfully by the second night they had learned where they were suppose to go and went in themselves. Andrew is anxiously awaiting the first egg. And, yes, all the chickens have names. :)

That's so neat that you have your chickens now! How many are there? Have you found any eggs yet Andrew? I really like all the pictures!
