The biggest event in the fall is our church's annual Missionary Fair. All of the missions and missionaries that our church supports are represented, and most of the missionaries attend. But, as always, before the big day there is hours upon hours of careful preparation.

Bethany placing the eyes and noses on.
Dad helped out one of the missionaries by creating their display board. Typical engineer, he had his tailor's tape in hand making sure everything was exact. It took him over five hours, but it looked AMAZING.
The staple food at the fair is the dozens upon dozens of homemade pies that the ladies of the church make. Yum!
A few designated pies are set aside each year for the pie action. Above are the two hilarious auctioneers dressed up and ready for the pie auction.

This year it was especially neat to see the interaction between the missionaries. They were encouraging each, using each other's materials, and learning from each other. It was clear to see that we all were gathered together from all parts of the world for one purpose: to proclaim the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
