Last week, we traveled to Indiana to visit grandparents, cousins, Grace, and aunts and uncles. (Well, technically, the real reason we drove out there was because Dad had two conventions, but those only involved Dad.) We were happy to hitch a ride and visit family! :) We had a great time, as always, with almost of our cousins (missing six of the 27 grandkids)
Stephanie brought supplies to do nails for the Weaver girls. :)
We brought a new game to play. So much fun!
Did you know frozen, thawed, cooked, and re-frozen ice cream desert tastes great?!?!
While some of the girls where out shopping, Uncle Alan put dinner in the oven for Aunt Dawn. Only thing is, the wrong foil covered dish had been thawed in the refrigerator. So instead of putting the spaghetti pie in the oven, the ice cream dessert got put in the oven! When Aunt Dawn arrived home about 15 minutes later and opened the oven to remove the foil she discovered a very liquid dessert cooking in the oven. (We all thought it was hilariously funny to think of cooking ice-cream!!) Aunt Dawn didn't find it too funny right at that moment though! Uncle Alan carefully put it back in the freezer and retrieved the spaghetti pie. After the dessert had a chance to re-freeze, everyone still raved about how good the frozen-thawed-baked-and-re-frozen dessert was! :)
